Slapton Ley

Slapton Ley
I saw these white bait fleeing up a tributary to Slapton Ley, from Slapton Sands, trying to escape the larger shoals of mackerel that come to the beach in July or August. The white bait can be so desperate not to be prey. they can throw themselves onto the beach.
