In the refurbishment of the Parliament Building after the unification, the original roof light was redesigned
with a spiral ramp which gave access to a viewing platform above a bank of mirrors, which reflect light into
the Debating Chamber. Sometimes the ramp is blocked by tourists taking selfies.
